Pinterest’s new competition is asking users to vote for what the most beautiful country in the world is.

Naturally, our ears pricked up. You can vote on Twitter or Pinterest for your favorite country [cough Ireland!], and share the reason.

Ireland is currently ranking at 13th… so please vote for us!

There is a snazzy Nikon DSLR and iPhone to be won. Not to mention the oodles of good karma for those who vote for Ireland, naturally.

Orla has lived in both Dublin and Kildare for a decade apiece and is torn between the two counties. In her spare time she loves a good read; Irish authors are the current favourite. When her nose is not in a book, she can be found eating at various restaurants in Dublin and scouring charity shops for 'granny chic' handbags. Wow Ireland is the most beautiful place on the earth. I’d vote for them everyday if I had to. Can’t wait to get back out there next year.

Sadly I am coming to the end of my 3 month stay in Ireland. This stunning country is by far the most beautiful in the world!
It’s spectacular scenery, friendly people and the magical spell it puts on you as you discover something new every day.
I have had the experience of a life time, made some wonderful new friends and take with me, memories of Ireland that will stay in my heart forever!

When you travel around, especially somewhere like Donegal, you turn a corner and see a sight that reminds you of Greece, or the MisWest of the USA or a 100 other countries. Ireland is 100 countries in one!

The one hundred shades of green covering most of the rugged landscaped with lambs, castles and thatched huts make it breathtakingly beautiful.

I’ve been to the south of Ireland once and found the people the warmest and friendliest in all of europe..next time , i want to explore some islands and northern ireland.. maybe even to semi retire there one day..
